Proud moment for the state as four Assam women to provide security of the country’s President, Prime Minister, Home Minister and VVIPs.
Assam women to provide security to top officials
The women have been identified as Irani Chutia of Dhemaji, Happy Buragohain, Kalpana Das of Sivasagar, and Jyoti Borah of Guwahati.
As per reports, the four women have been recruited by the Delhi Police Special Battalion and now have been put in charge of providing security to the VVIPs of the country.
In the year 2019, a total of 41 women and more than 84 youths from Assam were recruited into providing security after passing the North East Police Examination in Delhi.
Through the process, Irani, Happy, Kalpana and Jyoti were appointed to the Delhi Police Special Battalion.
