On 29th October, a meeting was organised by the Assam State Karate Association at Assam Olympic Association meeting hall in semi virtual mode.
A decision was made that the karate championship will be held on November 20-21 at the deshbhakt tarunram phukan indoor stadium in Guwahati, as part of the radha govinda baruah sports complex.

Diganta Kalita, a member of the Assam Legislative Assembly as well as the president of adhoc committee of the Assam Karate Association was present during the meeting. Shri Hiren Gogoi, Joint Secretary of AssamOlympic, was also present at the meeting.
It was his first meet since becoming the President of the Assam State Karate Association.

Adhoc committee of the Assam Karate Association
Recently, in a meeting held in the city, an adhoc committee of the Assam Karate Association was formed.
In the Assam Olympic Association’s conference hall, the meeting was held.
The committee’s president will be Diganta Kalita, MLA of Kamalpur, and the secretary will be Adarsha Choudhury.
