The government of Assam has raised the price of Indian-made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) by 65 percent in the state.
Hike on specific kinds of IMFL liquor
Prices for specified kinds of IMFL liquor have been hiked, according to a notification issued by the Assam Excise Department on June 2.
Moreover, Rum, Brandy, Whiskey, Gin, Liquor Cordials, and other similar alcoholic beverages manufactured in India will benefit from the rise.
However, t’s worth noting that the price increase will take effect on June 15, 2022.
