A fresh set of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) was issued by the Government of Assam today, November 8. It includes exemption of mandatory COVID-19 tests for children below the age of 10 years, along with double vaccinated parents.
Voluntary Paid Testing for Children
However, according to the parents’ will, they may choose to volunteer for paid-COVID-19-testing for their wards/children.
SOPs for Assam’s commuters
For air and land commuters of the state, including travelers of flight, railway, and road, the Assam Government has listed;
All incoming passengers, who have been vaccinated with two doses of Coronavirus vaccines and possess such certificate, on the production of the same in front of screening authority shall continue to be exempted from mandatory testing on arrival at Airports, Railway Stations, Road Border Points, etc.
