Assam may soon face cylinder shortages in the coming days as LPG transporters will be closed indefinitely from Monday.
Cylinder shortage; NEPLTA calls for indefinite strike at IOCL
The announcement after the Northeast Packed LPG Transporter Association (NEPLTA) has called for an indefinite strike on 24th July 2022.

The NEPLTA has called for the strike against the IOCL authorities as they are not fulfilling the demands of the local transporters.
As per reports, the LPG transporters of seven plants shall be closed from today onwards. The seven plants include – North Guwahati bottling plant, Tinsukia Gopanari Plant, Sarpara Bottling Plant, Bongaigaon, Dimapur, Silchar and Duliajan.
