The 7th Annual Job Fair was hosted today by Assam down town University (AdtU) at its premises at Panikhaiti, Chandrapur. The Fair saw a substantial turnout of job seekers where pre-registrations numbered around 3000 entries and several more registered on the spot.
Over 50 national and multinational companies participated in the Job Fair for the screening of candidates. A few notable among them were Marico Limited, Life Insurance Corporation of India, Dabur India Ltd, Radisson Hotel Group, and Britannia Industries Limited among many others. Rimjhim Baruah Borah, Placement Manager of AdtU, and Ipshita Bora, Additional Manager Placements, were at the forefront of the entire arrangements resulting in this eventful day.
The Placement Cell at AdtU has been organizing Job Fairs every year and they are now a regular annual feature, looked upon with excitement and anticipation by thousands of job seekers. Many companies have committed to their presence at the event through the years.
