Assam court has given its verdict to sentence till death to three main accused of rape and murder of to minor girls.

The three accused has been identified as Farizul Rahman, Najibul Ali Sheik and Muzamil Sheik.
The fast track court of Assam sentenced three of them to death in guilty of rape and murder of two minor girls. The three of them were convicted on 6th of April 2022.
The bodies of the young girls were found in last year and the three accused were arrested on 14th june 2021.
As per the tweet shared by CM Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma, “honourable Session court, Kokrajhar awarded death sentence to accused Muzamil, Najibul and Farizul in the gruesome case of rape and murder of two tribal minor girls. I visited the family on 13th June 2021 and directed @Irbishnoiassam to form SIT and take the case to its logical conclusion.”
The judge that sentenced the three criminal was Special Judge C Chaturvedi.
