Assam: Authorities arrest 2 corrupt Public Officials on separate charges

The Directorate of Vigilance & Anti-Corruption, Assam, on Friday, December 17, has arrested One Lat Mondal Debananda Bora, while accepting bribe money at the Hojai Revenue Circle office. A case has been registered for further investigation.

Similarly, on Friday, December 17, Karimganj Police arrested Sub Inspector Jitendra Singha of Patharkandi Police station for accepting a bribe. The arrest was made after an initial inquiry of a video that was uploaded on Social Media.
