Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma given 2000 handwoven gamusas by women from Naharkatia as a token of appreciation: Says he is humbled by the gesture

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has been gaining massive popularity among the masses for his progressive works and schemes taken up for the poor.

Now he has promised for schemes to try subside the worries of the women who has taken loans from micro finances. This step is welcomed by women all over the state. He was given 2000 handwoven gamusas by women of Naharkatia as a token of their appreciation for the CM’s step.

To this the CM said through his social media that he is humbled by the warm gesture of 2000 sisters from Naharkatia. And he has promised to stand by the people forever.
