The government of Arunachal Pradesh is planning to turn at least three villages near the Indo-China border into model villages.

Pema Khandu, the chief minister, announced this on Thursday.

Arunachal

Kaho, Musai, and Kibithu are three villages in Arunachal Pradesh’s Anjaw district that will be turned into model villages.

According to CM Khandu, a specific project called “Model Village” was recently started to promote settlements along the border by implementing different central and state government schemes.

The Arunachal government decided to develop distant areas of the state under the “model village” programme in order to prevent border people from migrating to urban areas.

Khandu also stated that 4G towers will be constructed shortly in border areas of Arunachal Pradesh’s Anjaw district.

“Airtel won the tender for the installation of 4G towers in the district, and work will begin soon,” CM Khandu added.
