Model Gabriella Demetriades, Arjun’s girlfriend, left a heart-eyed emoji in the comments section. Many fans remarked on Arjun’s role in the film. “Aray desi professor, I hope Bollywood can give a tough competition to Money Heist.” one fan wrote.
About the film
The Netflix Spanish series Money Heist has gained a lot of popularity and fandom in India. Many Bollywood stars have expressed their enthusiasm for the show, and the country is now prepared to see a desi version of the Spanish heist crime drama. The film will be directed by the duo Abbas Mustan.
“Arjun Rampal’s character is on the lines of Professor from Money Heist, whereas Mustafa along with two other actors will be playing the robbers,” a source said to Pinkvilla. “All the three robbers, alongside the Professor, will have a unique dimension, with all working together for a hidden motive of personal gains.”
“Abbas Mustan have been a master at adapting international thrillers and in the same way, they have brought in their own flavor to the narrative of Three Monkeys,” the source revealed.
According to reports, the Abbas Mustan film would be shot in a bunch of locations, beginning in Mumbai, and will be released in the second half of 2022. Later this month, the film will begin shooting on set. Five years after Machine, which marked the debut of Abbas’ son, Mustafa, the filmmaker duo will return to film direction with Three Monkeys.
The original Money Heist
The storyline of the original Spanish series involves two thefts committed by a group led by a mastermind known as The Professor. Alvaro Morte portrays the character. Tokyo, Moscow, Denver, Nairobi, Rio de Janeiro, Helsinki, Oslo, and Berlin are the names of the robbers in the show.

He’ll also appear in the period war drama “The Battle of Bhima Koregaon”, which depicts the Battle of Koregaon. Sidhnak Inamdar, a Mahar warrior, will be played by Arjun. Arjun is going to play alongside Pawan Kalyan and Nidhhi Agerwal in the Telugu period action film Hari Hara Veera Mallu.
