The rally was organised by the All Nyishi Students Union (ANSU) and the All Arunachal Pradesh Students Union (AAPSU) to protest the ongoing Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) document leak scandal.
According to ANSU Vice President Rahim Yangfo, the recent arrests of candidates and officials by the Special Investigation Cell have confirmed the unions’ belief that corrupt practices within the Commission are nothing new.
Meanwhile, ANSU demanded that no examination date be announced by the Commission until the investigation process is complete and that a new SOP for the examination is prepared with at least two candidates’ input.
