Another TMC leader criticized for his statement on Nadia Case. Massive criticism has sparked another controversy for the TMC party. After Mamata Banerjee’s comment “ if the gang rape victim was actually raped”, another leader from the party has made a similar remark.
The leader from the Murshidabad district has openly threatened the opposition that if they would defame Banerjee over the Nadia Case without any proof, they would be thrashed.
After Mamata, another TMC leader made a remark
He stated that until the opposition can prove that gang rape of the victim did happen, they should not defame West Bengal’s Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee.
As per reports from Afroz Sarkar, the president of TMC’s Bhagabangola block one committee, said, “Prove that gang rape happened. Stop defaming Mamata Banerjee or we will silence you with sticks.
He further commented that “I am not scared of anyone. Our leader Mamata Banerjee may not have a son of her own, but I am her son,” he went on to say.
Mamata Benerjee’s statement on the recent Nadia Case in the death of a minor girl, has sparked a lot of criticism from the opposition and from the people of West Bengal. “Was she actually raped? Was she pregnant? Was there some other reason? Did someone slap her? Was she sick? It is known that there was a love affair. Even her family and neighbours knew about this. I cannot stop boys and girls from falling in love. This is not Uttar Pradesh. I cannot start a love jihad programme. It is a matter of personal liberty,”. She was quite outspoken in the meeting when the general public questioned her about the issue.
Minor Girl killed in Nadia
Mamata Banerjee has been in a limelight ever since she commented on the death of the minor girl. The minor was alleged to have been ‘gang raped’. Two people have been arrested so far. One of them being a son of a local TMC leader.
She blamed the media for constantly feeding answers to the general public without verifying with the police first. She further added to her statement that the body of the young girl was cremated the same day of her killing. and the police were informed about her death almost after a week. She questioned the media by saying, “The body was cremated on the same day and as a layperson i am saying this, where will the police find evidence”.
