On Wednesday, activists from the All Assam Students’ Union (AASU) Jorhat region unit arranged an exhibit before the Jorhat Deputy Commissioner’s office to challenge soaring costs of fundamental wares and fuel, including LPG chambers.
The dissidents, conveying bulletins and standards, yelled trademarks against the BJP-driven governments at the Center and the State.
State associate general secretary of AASU, Jul Khound, assailed the legislatures at the Center and State for totally neglecting to check the sharp increment of costs of fundamental merchandise and fuel costs when individuals were hit hard monetarily because of the continuous COVID-19 pandemic.
AASU threatened the government
AASU compromised the public authority that they would fall back on a mix consistently in case costs were not diminished soon.
The dissidents later dispatched memoranda independently to the Union Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister and the Chief Minister, asking them to make essential strides promptly to cut down the costs of fuel and fundamental things.
Protest against soaring costs of fuel
The territorial units of All Assam Students’ Union (AASU) Gaurisagar, Dikhowmukh, Hatighuli and Charing mutually organized a dissent at Gaurisagar on Monday because of the call of the AASU Sivasagar region board before Gaurisagar ASTC transport stand complex other than NH-37 against climb of fundamental items just as soaring costs of fuel.
AASU activists yelled different trademarks against the public authority for neglecting to control costs of fundamental products and showed different notices.

AASU rallies against price rise of essential items in Morigaon and Tinsukia

The meeting was taken out by the Morigaon District Committee of the understudies’ association. AASU VP Utpal Sarma encouraged both the Central and the State governments to check the costs of the fundamental items.
Individuals from 11 panels of AASU (All Assam Students Union), including the TDSU (Tinsukia District Students’ Union) coordinated a human chain here to challenge the taking off value ascent of fundamental items on Friday.
TDSU general secretary Samar Jyoti Gohain said:
