A woman in Delhi Airport suffered a panic attack after she was denied entry at the boarding gate by Air India staff. A video went viral after her nephew posted it on social media.
As per reports, the nephew alleged that the Air Inida airport authority denied her entry and further called the security forces to let her out of the airport instead of calling for medical assistance.
According to the airline, the video that has been doing rounds on the internet is said to be rather ‘misleading’.
The nephew said that both of them were having technical issues due to which they were running late. They even asked the Air India staff to assist them so as to board on time. However as per their claims, they were denied assistance.
The woman who is a heart and diabetes patient suffered a panic attack when the Air India staff denied them entry. The woman panicked as her nephew had a final exam the very same day. She was further asked to leave instead of providing her with medical assistance.
Air India’s version
As per the reports from the Air India staff, the woman and her nephew was denied entry as they failed to reach on time despite their names were being called several times.
The airline also called for a doctor right after she fell down but she declined any medical assistance.
