Yogi Adityanath, Uttar Pradesh’s chief minister for the last four-and-a-half years, has also not taken a day off from work in seven years, according to the state’s Deputy Chief Minister Dinesh Sharma.

“We don’t discriminate based on religion,” Mr. Sharma said at a “prabuddh sammelan” in Greater Noida.

Following brief discussions with party office-bearers on the way, the deputy chief minister visited a program organized by a teachers’ organization in Greater Noida, accompanied by Jewar Noida MLA Dhirendra Singh and Dadri MLA Tejpal Nagar.

Mr. Sharma tweets that education, teachers, and children are a top concern for the BJP

Mr. Sharma, a member of the Legislative Council (MLC), had earlier said on Twitter that education, teachers, and children are a top concern for the BJP-led administration.
