At least two people were arrested from Delhi’s Subhash Nagar on Saturday night for firing at least 10 rounds of bullets.
More than 10 rounds of firing reported in Delhi
According to Police reports, bullets were fired against Ajay Choudhury who is the former chairman of Keshapur Sabji Mandi Union. The former chairman and his brother Jaswant were in their car when bullets were fired against them by assailants.
As per reports, both the victims are injured and are now undergoing treatment at a private hospital.
CCTV footage has been released that captures the entire scene. The footage shows two attackers walking towards a white Scorpio car and aiming the gun at the two victims.
Many eyewitnesses have stated that the former chairman was on his way to Shubhas Nagar when the assailants who were already present in the area started firing at the car.
The reason behind the firing is not known, however, it is believed to be some gang rivalry.
According to Police, a robbery angle is also suspected as one of the possibilities.
