In the Begusarai district, a veterinary doctor was allegedly kidnapped and forced to marry a woman. The victim’s family claimed that he was abducted and forcedly wedded to a woman after being called by a resident of a neighboring village under the pretext of treating animals.
The event occurred in Pidhauli village, which is under the jurisdiction of the Teghra police station. Subodh Kumar Jha, the victim’s father, has filed a police report alleging three people were involved in the event.
He stated that Vijay Singh, a Hasanpur village resident, called his son Satyam Kumar, a veterinary doctor. Satyam was kidnapped by Vijay and forced to marry a woman, according to his father.
