Pursuing his dream, a 38-year old Cop Amol Yashwant Kamble’s video of him dancing has created a sensation on the internet, winning hearts across the country. Kamble who joined the Mumbai Police in 2004, credits his passion for dancing to his brother. His brother is a choreographer. Dance has always been his dream since his childhood.

At present, Kamble is posted at Naigaon Police Headquarters. However, he is pursuing his childhood dream of dancing besides serving for the Mumbai Police Department. As a youngster he had took his brother to several dance shows and even performed as a background dancer, Kamble told PTI.

“My elder brother is a choreographer and I did some dance shows with him before joining the police force. As a policeman, I have a responsibility to maintain law and order and to protect citizens first, but on my weekly offs, I dance with my children, my sister’s children, and have fun,” he said.
