Guwahati: Vishal Mega Mart outlet in Beltola made to shut down for violating curfew hours

Guwahati’s Vishal Mega Mart outlet in Beltola is made to shut down as it was open beyond Covid-19 curfew hours.

The Beltola outlet of the Vishal Market chain was open even when curfew hours had struck at 10 pm.

While a journalist asked why the protocol was not followed, he was responded with poor conduct and the employees were ready to square up with and physically assault him; this occurred on the night of October 11.

The journalist went to Basistha Police Station and filed an FIR. The store later was shut down by activists of the United Yuva Parishad.
