Viral Video: ‘Love is an universal emotion’, proved in a video where a herd of elephants were captured coming back to their previous caretaker after 14 months of separation. 

About viral video:

The video shows the herd of elephants walking towards their caretaker who is identified as Derek Thompson who is co-founder of the Elephant Foundation. The man in the video is seen in a shallow water body as the elephants approach him. As the clip goes on, the elephants greet and embrace Derek with their trunks and he pats them.

The video has managed to garner almost 4 million views on the internet where netizens showered the comments section with love for the lovely video. While some expressed their adoration for elephants, others commented on how beautiful the reunion was.

The video was uploaded on Twitter by Buitenge Bieden where he wrote, “Elephants reunite with their caretaker after 14 months.”

About Derek:

According to a netizen, Derek left his career as a firefighter in Toronto to care for elephants. The video was shot at the sanctuary in Thailand that he and his wife Lek started.
