Many people, including Bollywood actors Hrithik Roshan and Kunal Kapoor, have praised this sweet video of a man singing ‘Jab Koi Baat Bigad Jaye’ from the 1990 film Jurm, which has gone popular on social media platforms.

The video was first shared on Twitter and Instagram under the name @ankit.today (Twitter), with the description “, “When talent meets tech, the possibilities are endless.”

The performer, Shakeel, can be spotted singing the song while strumming his guitar in front of a tiny crowd in the 2.10-minute video. 

The film then cuts to a signboard with a QR code for anyone who wishes to help Shakeel and multiple online payment providers. The message is as follows, “Thank you for your contribution, It pays my music school fees.”

The clip became popular at a rapid rate, almost immediately after it was posted on the internet, and actor Kunal Kapoor reshared it, urging people to support the artist. “Brilliant! You can support this very talented and innovative musician from wherever you are. The power of UPI and technology,” tweeted Kapoor.
