Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said on Thursday, ”The Assam Government will complete the recruitment process for 12,000 posts by September 22. The appointment letters for these posts will be given on September 2 at a function.”
Assam Government To Fill Up 12,000 Vacancies In Home Department
It may be noted that 12,000 vacancies in Home Department posts include 5,200 constables and sub-inspectors in the Home Department. Meanwhile, the State Government will give opportunity to a total of 42,000 people within six months.
Concurrently, a total of 30,000 posts were filled up in May. Himanta Biswa Sarma further added, ”The addition of another 12,000 employees in the service of the state government will help run of the day-to-day activities in a more seamless manner.”
