Uttar Pradesh Government bans gathering groups of 50 people as well as animal sacrifices in public places

In view of the COVID-19 situation in Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath-led government banned amassing of more than 50 people at any place for any event related to Bakrid,the official said, PTI reported.

Government asked senior officials not to allow oblation of banned animals at public places in the state.

The CM also directed the officials to ensure to make all necessary arrangements in view of the festival, an official spokesperson said.
