The ruling party in Tripura to grant an amount of Rs. 5000 to Undergraduate students who are in their final year so that they can buy smartphones.
About the scheme:
Through the implementation of this scheme, the ruling party of Tripura will provide an amount of Rs.5000 to those students who are in their final years of the degree course within the state.
The scheme will ensure that the students have access to the internet through that they can open the doors to digitalization.
Application:
All eligible students can apply for the scheme through the Beneficiary Management System (BMS) portal (https://bms.tripura.gov.in/).
Last date:
All who are eligible must apply from December 6, 2021, to January 7, 2022.
During the last fiscal year, a similar grant of Rs.5000 was provided by the government to the students.
This Yojana was announced as a part of poll promises before the last assembly elections.
