Shashi Tharoor, a senior Congress leader, authored a humorous poem on the 28th of April in response to Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s demeanor at a meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Shashi Tharoor also poked fun at the Bharatiya Janata Party, which had labeled Kejriwal “mannerless” after the tweet went viral.
Shashi Tharoor’s Poem
Tharoor, who is noted for his out-of-class vocabulary, wrote a poem.
“There once was a CM of Delhi
Who stretched from his head to his belly;
The onscreen reticulation
Revealed his pandiculation
So BJP frothed& quivered like jelly!” Mr. Tharoor posted on Twitter.
Kejriwal was seen sitting in a mannerless posture in a viral video, according to the BJP.
“Arvind Kejriwal continues to disgrace himself with uncouth mannerism,” BJP IT cell head Amit Malviya tweeted, referring to a video of Modi’s conversation with chief ministers.
Further, Kejriwal was seen in the footage reclining comfortably with his hands behind his head.
BJP spokesperson Shehzad Poonawalla wondered if Kejriwal was “bored or mannerless or both” when he asked if this is how a chief minister should behave at a crucial gathering.
The prime minister had a virtual meeting with the chief ministers to address the COVID-19 situation in the country.
