Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan will be seen as a guest in the latest episode of The Kapil Sharma Show along with his co-stars Yami Gautam and Jacqueline Fernandez to promote their new film “Bhoot Police”. In a newly released promo, the actor shared that he’s scared of ‘expensive’ weddings.
“I am scared of expensive weddings”: Saif Ali Khan
The host of the show comedian Kapil teased Yami asking about her low-key wedding with ‘URI’ director Aditya Dhar during the lockdown period. Reportedly there were only 20 people from family and friends who attended the wedding. Then she replied that her (nani) maternal grandmother who is just 40 km away from her home, advised her to follow lockdown protocols and will invite only the close ones.
Then Saif Ali Khan said, “Mujhe bohot darr lagta hai expensive shaadi se (I am very scared of expensive weddings) “Mere 4 bachche hai, bohot darr lag raha hai (I have four children, I am scared)”. Here the actor is talking about his sons Taimur Ali Khan and Jehangir Ali Khan with Kareena. And from his first marriage with Amrita Singh, he has daughter Sara Ali Khan and son Ibrahim Ali Khan.
Actor recalls his own wedding
The actor and nawab Saif Ali Khan then recalled his wedding with Kareena Kapoor Khan in 2012. He said that they even wanted to have a small gathering of people. The actor said, “Jab humne shaadi ki thi, humne bhi wohi decide kiya tha ki sirf ekdum close family ko bulayenge. Lekin Kapoor family jo hai, unme kum se kum 200 hai (When we were getting married, we also decided to invite only close family. But the Kapoor family has at least 200 people).
“Bhoot Police”: a horror comedy
The film “Bhoot Police” starring Saif Ali Khan, Arjun Kapoor, Jacqueline Fernandez, and Yami Gautam is a horror-comedy film, which is released on an OTT platform. It received both positive and negative reviews from the audience and the critics. The film is helmed by Pavan Kirpalani and produced by Ramesh Taurani and Akshay Puri, the trailer showcases the audience an adventure loaded with hilarious and exciting paranormal elements.
In upcoming days, the actor is going to feature in Om Raut’s film ‘Aadipurush’ where Saif will be playing the role of Ravana. The film will also star south superstar Prabhas in the lead role. Kriti Sanon will be seen in the role of Sita while Sunny Singh will be playing the role of Laxman in the movie.
