Report of a survey conducted by Marsh India says that 59 per cent of employees in India are under stress in their daily life.
What does the report say?
As per the Health on Demand India 2021 survey report, which was issued on November 22, as many as 27 percent of employees in India assessed the epidemic as having a “mostly” or “completely” negative impact, which is lower than the global average.
Besides the Covid-19 pandemic was considered as having a primarily or fully unfavourable influence by 33 percent of employees globally and 28 percent in Asia.
Knowledge from the survey
The survey states that 50 percent of employees across the world and 51 percent of employees in Asia are stressed in their day to day life.
Further, 53 percent of employees in India believe their employer cares about their well-being in 2021, whereas 58 percent of employees said their employer cared about their well-being in pre-pandemic 2019.
The study also revealed that employees having 10 or more well-being services through their workplace were 20 percent less inclined to switch jobs, 18 percent more confident in getting the healthcare they need, and 8 percent more energized than those who had no such resources.
