Registration for the All-India Quota (AIQ) Round 1 National Entrance cum Eligibility Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) counseling will begin on January 19th. Registration for NEET UG counseling round 1 will be open from January 19 to January 24, according to the Medical Counseling Committee (MCC).

Candidates must fill options between January 20 and January 24 after completing NEET UG AIQ round 1 registration. The round 1 seat allotment outcome will be announced on January 29, while institutes will verify candidates between January 25 and January 26.

4 rounds of counseling to be held

Instead of the previous two rounds of all India quota (AIQ) counseling, candidates will now have four options: AIQ Round 1, AIQ Round 2, AIQ Mop-up Round, and AIQ Stray Vacancy Round. Following the end of round 2 of AIQ, however, no seats will be returned to the individual states, according to an MCC statement.

Candidates must select and confirm institutions from a list of accessible alternatives after registering for each round. Candidates will be verified and seats will be assigned as needed.

Process to register for NEET UG 2021 Counseling:

  1. Registration: Candidates who wish to apply for the all India quota (AIQ) seats must do so online at mcc.nic.in. While applying online for undergraduate medical seats, applicants will be asked to give their roll numbers, registration numbers, names, mother’s name, and dates of birth as they appear on their NEET 2021 scorecard.
  2. Payment of NEET UG Counseling Cost: When applicants pay the fee for NEET UG counseling round 1, their NEET 2021 application will be considered complete.
  3. Exercising and Locking Choices: Applicants must fill out the choice form and indicate their choices for the college or institute to which they wish to be admitted.
  4. Seat Allotment: MCC will disclose the NEET 2021 seat allotment list so that candidates can see which college they have been assigned to. Within the deadlines, candidates must download the NEET seat allotment letter.
  5. Reporting to the Allocated College: Candidates must report to the allotted college with their NEET allotment letter 2021 to complete the admission requirements in the final step of NEET 2021 counseling.
