The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India(FSSAI), has released a recruitment notification on the official website under which 254 vacancies for the post of technical officer, assistant, central food safety officer, personal assistant and others are listed.
FSSAI is a statutory government body, which has invited applications for its vacated posts. Interested candidates can apply for the available posts on its official website of FSSAI at fssai.gov.in.
From October 8, the application procedure will start and the last date to fill the online application process is November 7.
Age limit
The candidates who are eligible to apply must be under 35 years of age for the post of Food analyst, Assistant Director (Technical), Assistant Director and Deputy Manager and
Candidates under 30 are eligible for the post of Technical Officer, Hindi Translator, Central Food Safety Officer (CFSO), Assistant Manager IT, Assistant Manager, Assistant,Personal Assistant and IT Assistant.
For the post of Junior Assistant Grade-I the age limit is 25.

Selection procedure: Candidates will be selected on computer-based tests and some posts would also require interviews.
Application fees: The candidates from the General and OBC category have to pay ₹1500 as application fee. The application fee for ST/SC/EWS/Women/Ex-Servicemen/ PwBD is ₹500.
