Spider-Man: No Way Home has recorded the widest release for any Hollywood movie in India ever. The much-awaited movie of the year is reportedly going to be played on 3264 screens across the country. The movie is releasing a day prior to the US in India.
Previous record for Hollywood relases
Reports say that the screen count that was previously received by blockbusters such as Avengers: Endgame and Avengers: Infinity War was nearly 2500+ screens. And now, Tom Holland starrer which is releasing in four languages in theatres, namely Hindi, English, Tamil, and Telugu, has managed to beat that record.
Hard time to Bollywood Movies
Given the movie is already overwhelming the audience which can be seen from huge screen count, Spider-Man: No Way Home will definitely be a severe competition to upcoming Bollywood films such as 83 among others and is likely to continue to perform excellently over the holiday season. In terms of the box office performances of previous Spider-Man films, it won’t be surprising if the new one gets an equally warm welcome from the Indian audiences.
