Ratan Tata is without a doubt one of India’s most well-known industrialists. The Tata Nano, which was priced at 1 lakh and allowed many Indians to realize their ambition of owning a car, is one of his numerous achievements.
However, the Tata Trusts Chairman has now won over the Internet by arriving at a Mumbai hotel in a Tata Nano.
Ratan Tata is seen driving up to the Taj Hotel in a viral video uploaded on Instagram. The industrialist’s grace and simplicity have wowed social media fans.
Several people have expressed their admiration and regard for Ratan Tata in response to the post. “So simple and humble,” one person commented.
Ratan Tata “Great Human Soul…”
Ratan Tata was characterized as a “great human soul with a true spirit of humanity” by one user. “We have a lot to learn from him.”
Ratan Tata recently sent a letter describing what Tata Nano means to him. He stated the car was always “meant for all our people” in a touching and comprehensive caption.
Sharing an image from the launch of the car, Ratan Tata wrote, “What really motivated me, and sparked a desire to produce such a vehicle, was constantly seeing Indian families on scooters, maybe the child sandwiched between the mother and father, riding to wherever they were going, often on slippery roads.”
“One of the benefits of being in the School of Architecture is it taught me to doodle when I was free. At first, we were trying to figure out how to make two-wheelers safer, the doodles became four wheels, no windows, no doors, just a basic dune buggy. But I finally decided it should be a car. The Nano was always meant for all our people.”
The Nano was first introduced by Tata Motors on January 10, 2008. Nano was discontinued a decade later, in 2018, due to difficulties like falling sales.
