A 78-year-old woman, Pushpa Munjial from Dehradun, Uttarakhand, has titled all of her possessions, including assets worth 50 lakhs and ten tolas of gold, after Congress politician Rahul Gandhi.

Moreover, Pushpa Munjial has filed a will at the Dehradun court, transferring her property ownership to Rahul Gandhi.

Furthermore, she stated that she is greatly influenced by Rahul Gandhi’s ideas, which is why she is donating her land to him.

Meanwhile, Pushpa Munjial willed her property to Rahul Gandhi at the residence of former state president Pritam Singh, according to Congress Metropolitan President Lalchand Sharma.

Lalchand Sharma, the Congress Metropolitan President, claimed the woman was heavily influenced by Rahul Gandhi’s ideas.

“Pushpa Munjial told us that Indira Gandhi and Rajiv Gandhi sacrificed their lives for the unity and integrity of this country. Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi have dedicated themselves to the service of the nation. She is very much influenced by this,” said Sharma.

Congress’s defeat in the Assembly Election 2022

Meanwhile, in the recently held assembly elections of 2022, Rahul Gandhi’s Congress failed to make a mark in all five states, including Goa, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Manipur, and Uttarakhand.

Under Mr Rawat’s leadership, Congress fought the elections in Uttarakhand. Out of a total of 70 assembly seats, the party won only 19 seats, compared to the BJP’s 47. After the party suffered a crushing defeat, Rahul Gandhi, the party’s top leader, stated the “party humbly accepts the people’s verdict in the polls” and will learn from it.
