PM Modi turns 71: Govt plans 20-day mega vaccination drive

As Prime Minister Narendra Modi turns 71, the BJP led government has planned to achieve a 20-day mega COVID-19 vaccination record on 17th September to mark the birthday of Modi. The mega event called ‘Seva and Samarpan Abhiyan’ celebrates Modi’s 20 years in public service.

Vaccines Eva as a gift to PM Modi on his birthday

On 16th September Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya said, “Let’s do #VaccineSeva and give him a birthday gift by getting vaccinated those who have not taken the dose so far”.

On August 27, India registered its highest single-day number of 1.03 crore doses. The government plans to up the count to 1.5 crore doses on 17th September. 

BJP urged leaders to motivate people to get jabbed

According to reports, the BJP has urged its leader to encourage people to get vaccinated. while state officials are suggested to double the daily number of vaccination. Total 8 lakh volunteers have been trained to conduct the mega vaccination drive.

The BJP party is going to hold cleanliness rallies, health camps, and blood donation campaigns across the country as part of the event to mark the prime minister’s birthday. They will also send 5 crore postcards to Modi to thank and congratulate him for his contribution to the country. 

Free food for the food, hoardings to thank PM Modi

Besides the event, food items will be given to the poor people under the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Yojana. “All representatives will go to vaccine centers to spread awareness and thank the Prime Minister,” the statement said.

The party has also stated that hoardings will also be put up across the country thanking PM Modi for “free foodgrains and vaccination for poor”.

Party will help river cleaning campaign too

The party will also hold a campaign to clean the Ganga river in 71 places of poll-bound Uttar Pradesh.

“Intellectuals and famous personalities will be invited to attend events that focus on PM Modi’s life and his achievements. In various languages, opinions and articles by prominent personalities will be published to ensure the message reaches out to the public,” the party said.

The celebration will continue till October 7,  and within these days a huge cleanliness drive will be held on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti on October 2. Meanwhile, the public will be encouraged to use local products and use the Khadi in their daily life. 

Ministers poured in birthday wishes for Narendra Modi

On 17th September, Union Ministers and other members from the BJP party poured in birthday wishes for Prime Minister Narendra Modi as he turned 71.

President Ram Nath Kovind tweeted wishing the PM, “Best wishes and a happy birthday to the Prime Minister of India. I wish you good health and long life, and may you continue to serve the nation with your unfailing spirit of service”.

Amit Shah added, ” In Modi, the country has got a strong and decisive leader who gave a dignified life to those who were deprived of their rights for decades,” he said. “Modi brought them in the mainstream of development”

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh said, “Modi has written many new chapters in development and good governance in his tenure so far and wished that he fulfill his dream of making India a strong, prosperous and proud country”.
