After completing his Europe trip, PM Modi will be heading home on Thursday after conducting a series of bilateral meetings to boost ties with foreign nations in the areas of Trade, Energy and Green Technology.
PM Modi conducts 3-day, 3-nation tour
As per reports from the Ministry of External Affairs Spokesperson, Arindam Bagchi, “PM Narendra Modi’s 3 days, 3 nation tour was immensely productive. Advanced trade and investment ties- forged new green partnerships-promoted collaborations for innovative and skill development, strengthened the spirit of cooperation with our European partners”.
He further mentioned that his visit to France was ‘very fruitful’. PM Modi twitted, “My visit to France was brief but a very fruitful one. President Emmanuel Macron and I got the opportunity to discuss various subjects. I thank him and the French Government for the warm hospitality.”
On his trip to France, the leaders of both the countries discussed several issues such as regional and global and also on the Russia-Ukraine aggression. Amidst the ongoing conflict between the two countries, Prime Minister of India and leader from Finland, Iceland, Sweden, Norway and Demark attended the second India – Nordic Summit to discuss further.
