Gujarat, Vadodara-based Parul University recently held the grand finale of the Smart India Hackathon in association with the Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell and the AICTE.

PU was recognized as one of the nodal centers for the event as a part of the GoI’s Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav celebration.

Teams from Karnataka, Telangana, Maharashtra, Kerala, Assam, and Gujarat came and took part in the 2-day and night Smart Hackathon at PU campus in which the winning team received prize money of 1 lakh rupees each for 5 problem statements given by the government.
