Partha Chatterjee arrested by ED today
The West Bengal Minister has been accused of laundering close to Rs 20 crore linked to a alleged teacher recruitment scam in the state.
The arrest has been made after the ED team recovered Rs 20 crore and more than 20 mobile phones and many other documents related to crime scene.
As per reports from NDTV, “Partha Chatterjee was arrested after overnight interrogation. He is being taken to ED Office.”
The said amount is have been proceeds of the scam case.
