The Monsoon session of Parliament 2021 began on July 19, 2021, with the Central Government preparing to introduce 17 new laws. The Government and the opposition will clash throughout the session over burning topics such as the farmers’ strike, the COVID-19 pandemic, vaccination plan, and gasoline price rise.
According to an announcement from the Lok Sabha, the 6th session of the 17th Lok Sabha will begin on July 19. The Monsoon session is expected to end on August 13, 2021, depending on the demands of government work.
The Monsoon Session will also be the first Parliamentary session after West Bengal, Assam, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, and Puducherry held their Assembly elections.
