As the country goes to the celebration of Eid ul Fitr, the Islamist Movement Hamas ruling the Gaza Strip of Palestine stated that they were behind the recent attack on Jerusalem.

The shooting of the 23 year old Isreali Guard had been conducted by the Hamas which they take ‘full responsibility.’ As per reports from Al-Qassam Brigades which is a military wing of the Movement said that they take full responsibility of killing an Isreali Guard on Friday in the ariel settlement that left Vyacheslav Golev dead.
The claim from the Hamas Movement came to a couple of days since the shooting after the militant group that rules over the West Bank under the Fatah Party assumed responsibility.
According to the statements released by the Hamas Movement, the attack on the 23 year old Isreali Guard was in response to “brutal aggression of Israel against the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque and the worshippers.” The attack on the mosque resulted in at least 42 people getting injured right at the end of the Ramadan.
The violent clashes raise fear of armed conflict that triggers another escalation of war between the two parties.
