ONGC to donate ambulances to medical colleges: ONGC (The Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited) will be donating ambulances to the medical colleges in Assam. Notably, nine advanced ambulances will be given to the top medical institutions in the government sector.

It is mentioned that the top medical institutions which will be receiving these ambulances are the Medical Colleges in Dibrugarh, Jorhat, Silchar, Tezpur, Barpeta, Lakhimpur, Diphu, Tinsukia and Guwahati.

These ambulances will be flagged off from the premises of the Assam Medical College Hospital. Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sharma will attend the valedictory ceremony to be organized on November 3.

Many dignitaries including Rameshwar Teli, the state minister of petroleum and natural gas and labor and employment will be present for this event.

These ambulances will have a variety of medical equipment necessary in life and death situations including transport ventilators, suction apparatus, defibrillators, neutralizer and an oxygen supply for emergency patients.
