The video streaming platform, Netflix has launched the trailer for a new documentary series on the Japanese world No. 2 tennis player Naomi Osaka. The first look of Netflix’s new sport title was launched on Tuesday.
The documentary is the biography of the four-time Grand Slam Champion and her struggles. Narrated by the tennis star herself, the documentary ‘Naomi Osaka’ captures her experiences as she reflects upon her upbringing. It also shares the pivot snapshot of her life: winning the 2018 US Open and turning into a tennis sensation overnight.
In the trailer, Naomi can be seen asking, “What am I if I’m not a good tennis player?”. Director Garrett Bradley talking about the documentary said, “The series is about Naomi’s journey, within a snapshot of her life…But it’s also about life’s purpose, about personal worth, about the courage that it takes to allow one’s personal values to inform their work and vice versa.”
