Neeraj Bishnoi, the main conspirator and creator of ‘Bulli Bai’ was arrested from Assam by Delhi Police Special Cell’s IFSO team.
As per information, the main conspirator in the Bulli Bai scandal in which Muslim women’s were put up for an online auction was arrested from Assam’s Jorhat.
K P S Malhotra, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Intelligence Fusion and Strategic Operations unit, told the media, “Neeraj Bishnoi, arrested from Assam by Delhi Police Special Cell’s IFSO team, is the main conspirator and creator of ‘Bulli Bai’ on GitHub and the main Twitter account holder of the app.”

Neeraj Bishnoi was a second-year engineering student at a Bhopal-based institute.
Reportedly, he was arrested from his hometown in Assam’s Jorhat and was brought to Delhi.
So far, four persons have been detained in connection with the investigation.
Police officers nabs 4 individuals
On Wednesday, the Mumbai Police Department announced the arrest of Shweta Singh, an 18-year-old Uttarakhand woman who was one of the main suspects in the crime.
The app’s Twitter handle was created by her, according to the police. According to a police officer, Singh, who had completed his class 12 test and was hoping to pursue engineering, was operating on the orders of one ‘Giyou’ who was based in Nepal.
Vishal Kumar Jha, a 21-year-old civil engineering student at Bengaluru’s Dayanand Sagar College of Engineering, was arrested earlier this week. He has been remanded in jail until January 10th.
The ‘Bulli Bai’ app targeted Muslim women by putting their photographs up for ‘auction’ on the internet.
Further investigations are underway.
