Agri-IdeaTronix is India’s first competition of its type, aimed at cultivating young talent interested in using technology to solve real-world problems faced in agri and allied agri domain, notably in North East Region of India. NEATEHUB (an AIC-AAU Incubator) and Olatus Systems Pvt Ltd have collaborated to bring you this competition.

NEATEHUB presents Agri-ideatronix

•About the competition:
This competition is exclusively open to individuals are trying to address the needs/ problems faced in North East Region of India, in the field of agriculture by integrating technology.
Only those whose ideas are in the ideation stage and need a platform to develop them are eligible for this competition.

•Procedure and Rewards

Five of the best ideas will be chosen for incubation at NEATEHUB for a maximum of three months after a thorough screening procedure. During these three months, ideas must be turned into proofs of concept at the NEATEHUB. Food and lodging will be supplied during the incubation phase, as well as a monthly salary of Rs.5,000/- per team member. An applicant of NEATHUB can compete as an individual or as part of a group (max 4 members). NEATEHUB would provide all consumables for product development, up to a maximum of Rs.1 lakh rupees per team.

•How to participate in NEATHUB?
Individuals and teams who are interested in participating must complete the registration form below. Every idea made by a participant is treated with the utmost confidentially.
The following is a list of the equipment available at the lab for operations and prototyping. Participants are asked to go over the list of equipment and make a list of any other requirements they may have that are not on the list (if any).

•What is North East Agriculture Technology Entrepreneurs Hub also known as NEATHUB?
The AIC-AAU Incubator, also known as the North East Agriculture Technology Entrepreneurs Hub (NEATEHUB), is an NITI Aayog “Atal Incubation Centre.”
It was established as a Section 8 company under the aegis of the Assam Agricultural University in Jorhat, Assam, with the goal of launching successful agricultural and related agriculture startups. The Department of Agri Cooperation and Farmers Welfare, Government of India, has designated NEATEHUB as a “Knowledge Partner under the RKVY-RAFTAAR scheme.” NEATEHUB is also ‘Knowledge Partner under the RKVY-RAFTAAR scheme’ by the Department of Agri Cooperation & Farmers Welfare, Govt. of India.
The elements included in the Incubator are physical space, lab provisions, network activities, partnerships and linkages – both institutional and individual, mentors and advisors – to allow startups to structure their business and make them “investment-ready” to potential investors

Motive of NEATEHUB
The motive of NEATEHUB ‘Incubation Program’ is to identify young entrepreneurs at various stages of their development (ideation/ prototype development/ early stage to growth stage) and give them with much-needed mentoring and industry exposure to help them establish a successful business plan

.•Achievements
NEATEHUB has successfully completed 7 Cohorts with a total of around 130 incubatees in the pre-seed and seed stage from various agri and allied sectors such as Digital Agriculture, Food Processing, SCM, Biotechnology, Farm Mechanization, Agri-to-Waste Management, FAAS, Protected Cultivation, Quality Input, Bamboo Craft, Bioflocs, Agro Tourism, and so on. NEATHUB in total has Approximately 3 crores that it invested in close to 30 firms so far by the incubator.
NEATEHUB has been arranging numerous sensitization workshops and handholding Agri incubators in Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, and Tripura with the goal of promoting the region’s entrepreneurial spirit. NEATHUB allows To boost the region’s entrepreneurial ecosystem, the centre has partnered with a number of academic institutions and corporates. The AIC-AAU centre is committed to working with financial institutions and corporations to help incubatees raise money.
