Nagaon Police on Monday, December 6, apprehended a wanted criminal after a run-in with police in Assam’s Nagaon district.

How was he caught
According to police, the accused, Abdul Baset alias Iffu, has been previously linked to multiple cases of crime in Nagaon. Iffu was shot in the right leg while attempting to flee the police.
Other criminals arrested
The Nagaon Police had also apprehended seven other people in the bust, in addition to Iffu. Md. Kabir Hussain, Sanjay Deb, Diganta Borgohain, Wazed Ali, Md. Saju Rehman, Mihir Dey, and Feroze Ahmed are among them.
