The AIUDF Chief Ajmal claimed on Thursday that his forefathers were Hindu.
As per reports, the AIUDF chief said, “My forefathers were Hindu. Due to the atrocities by a small group of Hindus, many Muslims like my forefathers had to convert themselves into Islam.”

However, it has been stated that the people were not coerced to covert to Islam.
The AIUDF Chief added, taking a dig at opposition, “The agenda of Hindu Rashtra is a political gimmick that these 5 per cent Hindus use as a political tool to gain votes. It will forever remain a dream.”
A few days ahead of Eid, the chief appealed to Muslims hailing from Assam not to sacrifice cows, and requested the use of other animals to offer Qurbani.
