Miscreants attacked a picnic bus in Barpeta district of Assam.
A group of around 20 people allegedly attacked a bus carrying a picnic group in Luphuria of Barpeta district.
Miscreants stopped the picnic bus on the way
The Miscreants stopped the bus that was carrying the picnic group and attacked them at a place known as Luphuria in Barpeta district.
Reportedly, the miscreants were from the nearby village of Sintolu. A report has been filed at the Barpeta Sadar police station in connection with the case.
People from the picnic bus were injured
As per reports, few people from the picnic group have been injured during the attack.
Few days back, a group of people on a picnic trip met with a road accident near Assam-Arunachal Pradesh border and 17 people were injured.
Also, last year in December, two forest guards in Nagaon’s Laokhowa Wildlife Sanctuary area were attacked by picnickers.
