The police announced on Tuesday that a little girl from Dhubri, Assam, has been rescued from Palghar, Maharashtra.
Persuaded into an affair then kidnapped
As per reports, the minor girl was persuaded into an affair before being kidnapped by a Maharashtra resident, according to Dhubri Superintendent of Police Gaurav Abhijit Dilip.
Despite the fact that the accused was arrested by the Assam Police with the assistance of Maharashtra Police, the judge granted him bail.
Trafficking of girls
This is Dhubri Police’s fifth successful rescue mission outside the state in the last three months.
Previously, a small number of girls were rescued from Rajasthan, Haryana, and West Bengal.
Several reports of girls being abducted from the area have surfaced in recent days, with the majority of them being forced into the flesh trade.
