Arunachal Man bags the title of “Strongman of India” for the second consecutive year in the National Powerlifting Game 2022 held in Uttar Pradesh.

Wins the title in National Powerlifting Game 2022

As reported by Arunachal Times, Azad Basfore from Arunachal Pradesh bagged the title of “Strongman of India” in the National Powerlifting Game which was held in Uttar Pradesh from 8 to 9 January 2022.

Reportedly, Basfore, who is also the general secretary of World Powerlifting Congress (WPC) won the title last year making this his second consecutive award

Made a new record in Bench-press and gets “Strongman of India” title

Additionally, Basfore has also made a new bench-press record after he bench pressed 200 kgs, winning a gold medal in the 75 Kg bodyweight senior category.
