In a horrific incident, Assam man a victim of acid attack by some miscreants on Thursday.
Assam man a victim of acid attack, family feud suspected
As per reports, the incident occurred on September 28. The victim has been identified as Manik Debnath, a resident of Bokulguri in Goreswar in the Baksa District, Assam.
As per police officials, Debnath sustained grave injuries from the attack. The officials also suspect a family feud behind the attack. The victim’s wife said, there might be some personal rivalry which have resulted to the incident.
The accused, Bipin Rajbongshi, Deven Rajbongshi, Kanak Rajbongshi and Pinku Biswas has been taken into custody.
The attack was launched onto the victim while he was returning home from work. The victim was rushed to a village hospital and was later taken to GMCH for further treatment.
