Actor Lanuakum Ao, hailing from Longsa Village in Nagaland’s Mokokchung district, best known for his memorable role in the film ‘Axone’, passed away last night on December 5 around 9:40 pm due to kidney failure at the young age of 31.
He was rushed to the CIHSR (Christian Institute of Health Science and Research) at 4th Mile in Dimapur, Nagaland due to ailing health where he takes his last breath. He was earlier admitted to the Ovil hospital from where he was referred to CIHSR.

Apart from his memorable role in ‘Axone’, Lanuakum Ao had also acted in ‘NSR: The Jade’ and web series ‘The Last Hour’ where he also acted in a negative role and was about to appear in an upcoming feature film starring Ayushman Khurrana directed by Anubhav Sinha.
